<the Israelis would probably be outbid for NZ by the Chinese>

Maybe that's why Hu Jintao is visiting in a few days time. He's going to offer a bunch of US$ for a job lot of Kiwi citizenships. Our government in Helengrad will be tempted too greatly and will no doubt dilute my share-holding by selling what he wants.

That's what happened originally to Maoris. They were tempted by the goods and loot offered them by the British settlers and the settler government. The 1840 treaty was established to complete the deal. Maoris thought it a much better arrangement than digging for pipis, kumara and killing each other for hangi kai.

It became nearly all British. Now, the stupid descendants of the original hard-working settlers are looking for an easy number, same as the original Maoris, having intermingled and adopted the troppo Maori culture. So, here come the Chinese, with us selling the place for a song and the boss class taking the profits, using some of the money to bribe the troppo welfare electorate and keeping the rest for their own funding.
