I don't like the "under God" in the Pledge. Never say it. But I think the Court will uphold the Government's right to have it in there. Me too on all three counts, although I couldn't guess on the split. I think it will be a political decision. You know, maybe this is one of those things where the oldsters have to die off, as you mentioned the other day about the gay thing. When I learned the Pledge, it was "one nation, indivisible" and so it shall stay for me for the rest of my life. But once there's no one left who remembers the original way and how the language got added...
