The twist here is that this line of thought represents a turning point. This is a "To Be Or Not To B" turning point. You either say "I'm going to be as active(fun?) and honest(serving people right)and good(proud) as possible, damn the consequences; or you say "I'll run roughshod raping and pillaging, damn the consequences." The trouble with the latter is summed up in my first three words I wrote in this post, i.e. prison doesn't serve happiness/wealth very well for today. At least, this is the sort of tact I'd take if counseling troubled youth. Dan B.
