I think we discussed this a while back. My point of view is different. Suicide is the unlawful taking of a life. On the one hand what does the law of the world matter to a man leaving it. On the other hand some of us feel bound to an eternity of order. Since I am bound to eternity, this life is but a loaner that I am expected to take care of and have the same regard for that I do my fellow human beings. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." However, we all have our limits and I hope and pray that I am never driven to that limit. My brother committed suicide about 20 years ago, so I don't speak of it as a shallow consideration.
