Men of imagination were responsible for light bulbs, navigation, keeping of time, human flight, etc.

Ignorant men were responsible for ignoring their imaginings of the possibilities. Many a good and wise man has been put to death by the hand of a self assured egotist who could not allow thoughts beyond the scope of his proven little known scheme. But it aint over ... and for those of us who can imagine beyond the furthest beyond, we aint done yet.

Either the universe is grounded in something that is a source of order and purpose, and chaos is peripheral to it, or order accidentally arises from chaos, and there is no binding plan to tie it all together. If the former, one cannot easily exclude the possibility that something of importance is communicated through religion, insofar as history itself is conceived to have an underlying rational purpose, and religion has played a key role in history........
