Borb,
I don't trade in and out. I'm an investor tryint to capitalize on real economy issues and not a trader constantly reshuffling the portfolio on notions, gossips or rumors..

My target for the Nikkei is north of 20000 within a year.. I picked a lot of Japanese stocks over the last 2 years. Some became great performers:

6911 - New Japan Radio - Recommended at 350 Yen - now 1500 Yen
6974 - Nihon Inter - Rec'd at 190 Yen - Now 660 Yen
6951 - JEOL - Rec'd at 380 Yen - Now 800 Yen
6972 - ELNA - Rec'd at 260 Yen - Now 390 Yen
6772 - Tokyo Cosmos - Rec'd at 80 Yen - Now 125 yen
2551 - Marusanai - Rec'd at 430 Yen - Now 540 Yen

others look like poised for a real upswsing - and I have been buying them in the past weeks

6844 - Shindengen Electric - 330 Yen - unchanged from my entry
4004 - Showa Denko KK - 216 Yen - recenty entry
2598 - Asahi Softdrinks - 570 Yen - up from 480 Yen where I bought it

the only losses in Japan I suffered were from bad timing -
I sold Tokyo Tokai securities and had to forego a 50% gain. I sold Ando Electric and missed a 100% gain. I sold Topcon too early and missed out a 70% gain.. Lesson - especially in Japan - be patient. It usually pays off..

"Little correction"... an over 5% swan dive through the 50 day has me pulling up daily's instead of admiring those bullish monthly's. Have to see if EWJ can hold this bounce by days end. Cheers!
