Now that we have stepped into the bucket of shit, we have no choice but to finish it up.

The $87 billion is burgeoning with PORK for friends of Bush. Heck we're gonna teach them english and set up a zip code system for them. Gonna cost millions right there!

I like the idea of helping the Iraqi people, and for forgiving debt, but I got a feeling that we are going to be putting a $1,000 saddle on a $50 horse, and they'd rather have a camel anyway.

EXCELLENT GOOD STUPIDITY!!!! Thanks again Tom, you've started me onto the weekend with yet another good chuckle!

You have a talent for 'found art'... humor that that creeps upon us all unawares!

Thanks again, it was a dreary week.

Re: "Heck, is Syria more pro-American than some democrats?"

>>> Yep, nothing like new sanctions, and armies on their borders, and air strikes from one of our allies to make them mouth the words we want to hear in public! I'm sure Syria was real sincere sounding, too!

"John Kerry and John Edwards, say they'll defy the U.N. and vote against funding Iraq's reconstruction"

>>> Gee, I didn't know there were any UN resolutions that required American taxpayers to pay certain sums to Iraq... I though we were living in a sovereign nation, with democratically-elected leaders making decisions in our name --- I wasn't aware that the UN had taken authority over the finances of our nation!

>>> These guys might have defied our President (or some other politicians) by not voting the way he wanted them to... but I wasn't aware that they had defied our UN OVERLORDS! Geeze, the horror of it all!

>>> When do you think those UN black helicopters are going to start strafing runs over the Capital?

>>> That's a GOOD ONE, Tom!
