Hmm, Dan. I' not sure what you mean by "what Mark got wrong". Anyway, the whole S-CDMA stuff is in DOCSIS 2.0 now and it's history as far as I'm concerned. I'm much more interested in the future and better spectral efficiency, phase noise resilience, and intermodulation disturbance resilience for cable networks.

On the 3x vs 5x vs 7x vs 10x issue, it depends on where you stick your measurement sensor in the cable network. I suggest anyone who wants to dig into the details can review the cable applications section under Technology on our website at:
