JLA, your generation will get more than their share of the pain in the form of reduced benefits, higher taxes and a lower standard of living. That's already been happening, on a continual basis since the beginning of our creeping socialism. Anybody who's studied it, and I have, concludes that in the long run it just doesn't work. What does happen is that its proponents refuse to admit it, blaming the failure of their programs on other peoples' behavior, and enacting laws and regulations to restrict individual freedom and liberty.
