I do not consider it productive to play badminton with you. Since it is the Ba'athists who are armed, and you have no idea whether the ordinary Iraqi had access to guns, or what security arrangements were made for Saddam, your retort is laughable. (Do you really think that those cheering crowds he was sometimes shown with were spontaneous?) This is indicative of the lengths you will go to to try to salvage your points. I have no idea what you are going on about, relative to the Palestinians. It is a quite different situation. No one ever claimed that everything was rosy, just that progress is being made. You don't appropriate billions of dollars in aid unless there is still a lot to fix. So far, Bush is likely to be reelected. Obviously, what happens in the coming year will determine that matter. I am not worried..........
