Demons are fallen angels...nothing more...nothing less. There are no "human" ghosts..."it is appointed unto man but once to die." There were only two men in the Bible that ascended to Heaven and did not die. They will return and become "the two witnesses" that are slain at the end of the tribulation.

God is perfect. It is Him that gives man a choice. You may choose Him or you may not. We all hope you make the right choice.

No matter what, God is in charge. Everything that happens has already been seen by Him. Only the important parts are written about. All else is just noise along the way. Our fighting for our political beliefs is not as important as knowing Him.

Fighting to stop the slaughtering of the unborn babies is noble but it is nothing if you don't know Him. To know Him is to love Him.

I will answer your first question when you actually go back and at least try to comprehend what I originally said.

Same goes for the second question.

Third question, demons did/do have power to control some people, but IMO, have no power outside of a body. Proof?
a. Matthew 4:24
b. Luke 8:27-33
c. Matthew 12:22
d. Acts 19: 13-16
I suppose you could say that people think demons are "godlike", for their "power". Have I ever physically seen a demon..no...but I have seen some people that I believe were possessed by demons. How many there are, I have no idea...in the case of "Legion" which Jesus drove out of a man into some nearby pigs, there may have been thousands since the very name "Legion" in those times could have been associated to the Roman military term for a unit of men numbering from 3-6 thousand. As to what all power they may have, I do not know. I know they make men do things that one would not ordinarily associate with normal behavior.....but then of course that is hard to define, since you do the same thing.....

I do not think that demons are fallen angels. Only one time in scripture is it recorded that an "angel" entered a man...and that is this:

John 13:27----As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him... "What you are about to do, do quickly," Jesus told him.

but are demons the souls of the wicked dead?

Plutarch, a Greek writer, wrote: "the demons of the Greeks were the ghosts and genii of departed men..."

Josephus, the Jewish historian, wrote, Demons are the spirits of wicked men, who enter into living men and destroy them, unless they are so happy as to meet with speedy relief.

Justin Martyr wrote, " those who are seized and tormented by the souls of the dead, whom all call demons and madmen."

NOW, as to your first question, I will HELP you see what I originally said:

How is it that you can call God less than perfect???? I know the answer to that....do you?
Message 19413145

see now? I ASKED Frenchy, how he could call GOD less than perfect....and BTW, the reason I know he thinks that is that no clear thinking believer would ever call Jesus imperfect unless they wish to replace God with their own selves....and Frenchy has surely shown that he worships him/herself.
