Jesus was not a conservative, he was a rebel who wanted to tear down the autocratic authority ruled by the rich and powerful. But he was a non-violent protest leader. Like many of the ones the right-wingers called "evil" during the lead-up to the Iraq War. That's not conservative at all. He was chaste, but he was also best friends with Mary Magdalene, a prostitute. He did not judge people the way the right-wing does. He was tolerant of al but the greedy, rich and miserly. Those were the only ones he attacked.
