James > Once again: This is a Bear Market Rally.

For your own sake, stop reading that stuff and getting depressed. There are enough real problems, as you know, without dragging in the corpse of obsolete stockmarket analysis. There is no bear market.

The market no longer runs on PE ratios or any of that historic mumbo-jumbo. In fact, I challenge you to find what the actual PE ratio of the S&P500 is. What drives the market today is the imagination of "analysts" and they are bullish. Listen to CNBC or Bloomberg. So what more do you want to know? Truth? Bah! There's no such thing. Forget it.

You just have to believe what you see and don't think about it --- the market runs on WYSIWYG --- What You See Is What You Get. And if you want a bull market then you will see it. And if you have a good snort of coke or a smoke of pot you will see a bull market --- just like the "analysts" do.

What is done is expect the worst and then have a snort or a smoke. Then, when you are floating in space everything is just great, including the market. After that you write down your forecasts and when you wake up you find profits in abundance on your piece of paper. That method is called "beating expectations" and that's the only fundamental which is needed.
