The fact that the finance is higher than the current share price and only getting 1/10th warrant in a 50MM US bought deal is not weakness IMO. The warrant is only good till Feb 15.

Mind you IVN does have a very high cap here and I wouldn't own it now.

No question you would be inclined to see it that way, just as there was little doubt about what the gist of what Calandra would say when he was on TV this morning. While Tom acknowledged that the stock has risen a substantial amount over the past few months, he believes that Research Capital just increased their ownership of IVN to 10% - although he has not been able to get them to confirm this. His rationale for recommending the stock, is that "...smart people are buying it here." Since it takes one to know one, I cannot verify whether smart people are buying it here. I have recouped my original investment and am willing to see some downside on my remaining free shares as I don't think RF and company are done with the show.
