I agree, but I also think Motorola is missing a big opportunity by not breathing life into the European model. Just about everyone in Europe has a cell phone. Motorola would sell a lot more cell-phones if the European model became popular in America. Phone companies like Spring who have lousy service, and confusing billing schemes would lose their significance. There must be some idiotic FCC regulation interrupting a model similar to the European one. It just makes too much sense from a consumers point of view.
