Well, given that the employee who showed me around was about 12 years old and weighed 35 pounds, and who said in a mysteriously vague way that the Gameboylike instrument allegedly measuring my body fat did so by "sensing your magnetic field", I am not too confident about the answer. She also couldn't figure out how to use my credit card and so blithely told me to come back another time with a check. But I WILL ask when there is an adult around. There was so much mojo under the bridge that I feared it had been discussed and I had just lost it. It may be that men are perfectly welcome, but that the circuit is designed specifically for the female body and strength, and would not really be as effective on a male. We are off to HalfPrice since Dan just announced that he is out of reading material, considered a crisis in our home. It is a stunningly gorgeous day here- the time of year we Texans envy no one else in the world their climate. And I am just filled with energy after my one workout! Imagine me after a month!

It would be interesting to see how Curves dealt with a man coming in and wanting to join. It would indeed. If I weren't married, but were on the prowl, I might consider joining Curves as a way to meet women. What sort of women go there, anyhow?

Well, here's the answer. Curves is for Women only. ut-biz.com Wonder how they get away with that, at least in some states.
