When exactly was it Saddam planned to take America down. Judging from the box he was in with such a deteriorated military, he would have been lucky just to stay in power. Saddam hah not shown any adventurism in a long-long time. Bushies made that one up. Kerry was for being tough on Saddam though, just with invasion as the last resort, not the first and only resort, especially doing it alone without any post-war plan. 500 billion perhaps down the drain. Not even the great US economy can afford those kind of costs. Only rationale would be if we really had been attacked by Saddam or were about to be. No such threat existed. Quit believing the Bushie propaganda and you'll be a smarter person.
