ah, well then you must be the old AOL Time Warner VoD (which I thought was still a "trial", but come to think of it, that was 2002 so it must be out of trial now)... anyway, is the Time Warner trial not an IP network?. I assumed it was, because it is included in all these "lessons learned" seminars out here which are sponsored by the router companies.

Questions to be addressed by the Panel include:
· It is projected that 50% of future cable revenues will come from services other than traditional video services, i.e. VOD, VOIP and other value added services. How will we get there from here?
· What are the technical and service challenges to VOD, VOIP, RPR MAN, and next-generation CMTS? What are the primary marketing drivers and inhibitors?
· What are some of the lesson's learned from AOL Time Warner's ongoing VOD trial? From Cox Communication's recent deployment of RPR MANs?
· Syndeo Corporation raised $75 million in April 2002. In addition to VOIP, what other cable-related technologies are receiving funding in today's challenging funding climate?

But anyway microsoft aside, I think the 2-way tv aspect has promise, especially for education. Unfortunately I think real time voting on American Idol will probably be the biggest draw initially. <sigh>
