I would only be guessing : programming, local project management, and liaison with US counterparts.

What do your 100 offshore employees do? I have a vc team and a manufacturing operations team primarily. I used to have this operations group but that was temporary and I just got an email that the other manager is back from sabattacal, so he gets that one back. I work with a few of the seed depts of the VCs around here, coming up with new ideas for software companies and try to prototype them, and sell the result to Cisco and others. Just your typical entrepreneurial type stuff.
