Sounds like a slight underlying shill for the anticompetitive stance of the republicans and the current FDA (the safety excuse for the closed drug market, I mean

It certainly works out to their advantage. And that is the beauty of it. The Post is a Liberal Newspaper, with no love lost for the Drug Industry. So that charge won't work.

People have to stop assuming that drug sources are fungible.

Lizze do you take any drugs? My wife takes about 12 medications daily.. some twice a day... we are often changing drugs as they cause reactions that could be deadly. Many of the drugs she takes , do not take with one of the others, she does take.. but no choice.. Now we are changing from FDA approved drugs , some work , some do not.. and we change to another type.. My point is quality control of the drugs , this is primary, price of course is very important.. The answer is not to import drugs from Canada , if we want price controls then let's vote them in.... Let's have congress vote in price controls for drugs and the Canada issue goes away.. Call your congress person and tell them they got this all back wards.
