And BTW, 9/11 was NOT Arabs against Americans. It was BIN LADEN against Americans

Unfortunately, this does not square with reality...a problem which is evidenced in most of your postings.....

The United States was attacked on 9/11 because it was enforcing UN Sanctions and the "no fly zone" over Iraq. Even if you go after bin Laden, the status quo regarding Iraq had to change. Iraq was comitting genocide, and using UN Sanctions (and American enforcement of those Sanctions) as cover and blame. This means that the Arab world heard both Saddam and bin Laden blaming America (and Bill Clinton) of the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children. To make matters worse, they heard and saw Sec. Albright say that the price (the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Iraqi children) was worth it - even though she later clarified her position, and placed the responsibility and blame of those deaths squarely on Saddam.

Forcing Saddam out of power, was justified even under the Clinton Doctrine.
