The Dukakisization of a candidate is about pegging him as an emasculated man. This is strictly in the polito-advertising sphere. GW Bush despite his AWOL status, has projected himself as a man with balls of steel. Some see it as reckless arrogance, but that's what they are sticking with. That's why two Silver Star winners shoot the nuts off GW at 100 meters, because Bush's "balls" are mainly symbolic. In fact, GW has hardly risked a scraped knee in his life and was a football cheer-leader in school, not to mention an alholic slacker for half of his life. Nevertheless, Bushies will play up the "stud" image, posing GW with th troops and even putting him in uniform with big phallic guns, missiles and jet fighters are props. Against Dean this works, against Kerry/Clark it is a joke.
