that was serious... believe it or not I got a quote from Kaiser that was $160/mo for my employees, I was wondering if your HMO was Kaiser. We can't use Kaiser because of me, actually, and another problem has to do with proximity of some of the workers. Of course there are all these horror stories about Kaiser but I'll bet most are urban myths. They have done a good job at cost cutting there, maybe a little too much but there is something to be learned from Kaiser mgmt imho.

The reason I pay so much for drugs is because I don't have drug coverage. But that isn't really the point imho. The point is that paying for synthroid here, costs somebody somewhere $47 bucks for me and I can get it in Bolivia (yes I bought synthroid in Bolivia) for a fraction of that price. I can get it in Canada for less than half etc. This is a sort of looting of the US citizens and there is no reason for it imho. Where's the payoff. Are we a free market system or not, if yes then open up the market. If someone is concerned about safety they don't have to buy from Canada, but taxpayers should pay competitive prices that is all I care about.
