I would only add most of the film houses are owned by movie companies, so getting first run movies is a dream if you're a private movie house owner

Not in American, Mike. They broke the Monopoly in the 40s and made the Movie Manufacturers sell off the Theatres. That is what caused the end of the Studio system.

hey the updated Texas Chainsaw Massacre is supposed to be good! Very scary. OK not exactly high art but a good, scary movie is hard to find. Some good movies coming out, Mystic River is one and Veronica Gherin, which is a true story about that reporter in Ireland who was killed for exposing the Irish drug gangs.

Maybe the drug companies themselves can explain to us or to Congress, why the price of the same drug purchased here in the States is one price, and a completely different price in Canada or Mexico.

It would be interesting to have a thread here on SI that compares the price of different drugs in different major chains in each State, and the same drug by the same manufacturer in another Country.

Taking your point of view for a moment, one could at least argue this is a potentially life saving industry, so gouging should be looked at differently.
