For a moment. Think outside Liberal and Conservative mind set. Open your mind ... think outside the box.... come out of the cocoon (especially now that limbaugh isn't beckoning ;-) ) .... and try to answer the following. How much oil reserves are there in this country? Is it sufficient to meet the needs? Is it cost effective to drill ? Is it strategically important to drill for the oil... NOW or is it prudent to wait? Is it worth messing with environment ? (don't don your ideological hat yet) I don't drive a limo. I still drive my 93 ford escort and a Toyota Corrolla. I seriously considered Toyota Prius for the ford's replacement but our next one will have to be roomier than that for my growing family. Stay tuned... there are significant advances being made in alternative sources of energies... and guess what ? This research is not neccassarily coming from this country. It is a shame, had we spent a little bit of money on it, we would have a higer adoption rate of solar energy for various facets by now. Now you can don your ideology hat!!

Prolife, you are supporting the Enrons and Halliburtons ripping us off and polluting us. Shame on you. Since when did right-wing Christianity have anything to do with pro-pollution lobbyists? As Kerry is planning, we could get completely OFF Arab oil within ten years if we really tried. But Bushies are deeply in bed with 9-11 Saudis that they dont care about anything else but their billions in kickbacks and insider deals. Don't side with the crooks. Come clean and be a real Christian. Jesis would totally disagree with you. Jesus would not be for the pro-pollution less-efficiency lobby. Bushies killed the McCain-Kerry CAFE standards bill which would have saved more gas than is in all of Alaska. Ask yourself why.
