Governments can deal with currency issues and avoid running large deficits. Also protect the borders a little and try to maintain fair trade within its own network of trading partners, thats about it. The Huiwei situation is well managed in the US, with respect to the treatment of Huiwei, imho. On the budget and currency issues, lets just say I am hoping for improvement from this administration. Bush is in Japan but currency matters will be postponed apparently.
