No, go back to the first thousand or two messages...it (GWB thread) was interesting then. Now, it's like hooterville is reputed to be....scary hooligans and screechers...The only time any on the right visit there anymore is just to stir up the natives, lob a few common sense dust barbs, then run to sit on a high fence and watch the scruffies descend like locusts....all the time, the right thinking folks just giggle, and the scruffs don't get it............<ggg>

Before we leave this topic (maybe we already have, if so I'm sorry). I just wanted to say I disagree with this characterization of the GWB thread. In the first 100K posts, the GWB thread was a terrific source of opinion, disagreement and information. A lesson we should all keep in mind while discussing politics on this very young thread. Hopefully, someone like Bill can manage the task of creating a political thread where all sides of the spectrum are respected enough to feel comfortable posting their opinions, thoughts and ideas. It's not going to be easy. We all have to work on it each and every time we post. It won't happen unless we make a concerted effort. It won't happen unless we care enough to make it happen.
