Two hundred years? As me about the next 200 days, maybe -- that's about as far as my imagination is good for.

He might be right. OTOH, if we keep getting the kind of immigration we've been having, it'll be a lot cozier than it is today.

With modern communications people do not need to live in the big city. When you are young you like the party atmosphere but when you are older simple pleasures offer more. The baby boomers are already moving out to retire. The best places are the mid sized towns with cheaper housing but with some intellectual stimulation. A university town is ideal.
