Here's an idea consistent with the current Iraq debate in that cow barn we all the Senate: Make all payments from the Social Security Welfare Fraud into LOANS. Require the Social Security welfare queens to devote whatever is necessary from their monthly share of the pillage to a term life insurance policy, the beneficiaries being the working Americans they are robbing. When the welfare queens die, the money they stole would be paid back through to the policies to the Treasury and transferred back to the rightful owners through cuts in the payroll tax. It's a more reliable reparation than even Iraqi oil revenues...

And along those lines (The Senate cow barn could be pro-active here): Require economic impact statements for all proposed environmental regulations. The economic cost could be considered a loan to the enviro-whacko agitation groups-to be paid back by seizing the private contributions to those groups. It's a good first step the defunding the left wing enemy: Increase the cost of opening a nuclear power facility (or of shutting one down), and pay it back to the people who are being robbed by the pseudo-scientists...

You would not have posted a comment like this about me a year or two ago, and you would have been correct! I have learned a lot communicating on SI, mostly from moderates and conservatives.
