Hi Kirk,,

You need to keep those pet theories in the closet.

Publication of independent thinking could well crowd the limited float of micro caps.

Past compnaies like that were gobbled up by INTEL and are now creating historically high margins in the most sought after growth segment (wireless laptops- read that Centrino) and INTC is blowing out numbers in a "mature industry" that has obviously been reduced to commodity pricing.GG

I think a little company called CISCO might well be do a repeat in that regard also.

If competitors knew how well the correct strategic purchase could pay off - other smart companies (like TXN) would pay outrageous multiples for recent IPO smallcaps.

As dvdw points out - there are fewer of them out there now, and certainly an absence of new IPO's on a historical basis within the last 3 years.

Leads me to think there may be a fast price rise in the future for new tech firms, that have been IPO's say since 1985 and on - bring any thing to mind?GG
