The casualties in Iraq are getting worse, not better, but their PR blitz to make things look rosy is in full swing. It's all about Bush's re-election and has nothing to do with the troops. The troops were polled in the Stars and Stripes and one third say they doubt the Iraq War has any benefit for the USA. Half of them want to come home NOW and probably will not re-enlist, costing the country tens of billions more in re-training.

The only thing the press is interested in is the American body count: "Journalists used to walk freely into the city’s hospitals and the morgue to keep count of the day’s dead and wounded."

If they're only reporting one side of the story, can you blame the Administration for wanting it more fair and balanced?
