They know they will have to raise rates, or... Mr. Market will raise rates FOR them. I have a pretty big bet AGAINST this. No rate hike before the election. No more than 1/4 anyway. The fed does have control on that. The FED does not have control on the 10 or 30 and that is where we see rates go up. The odds of Greenspan raising the fed fund rate is close to 5% IMO. It would kill housing. You know it and I know it. Now rising 10 yr might do it anyway, but that is not in the Feds control. No way will greenspan help kill housing IMO. M
