Bought TMAR today $1.6 on average. Looks unlikely they would bk at this point. A year from now might be a different story. If the gulf picks up as some of us suspect they will survive.IMO

There's a Danish company that makes windmills but when I checked a year or so ago the price of the stock looked awfully rich.

ROYL seems to be acting as I hoped it would. The small trading float makes it bounce around amazingly.

<Can't find any pure plays in wind so far.> I've checked out Vestas and NEG in the past, but hadn't looked at the German plays.. As a sidenote,we have 13 wind turbines nearby on top of a mountain..Green Mountain Power is the owner (traded: GMP)..When first installed, the rotor attaching bolts began to show signs of shear due to the cold temps up on Searsburg mountain..Guess they overcame the problem and are talking of installing more in Northern VT..As I recall, the turbines were supplied by Enron Wind..now bought up by GE.

"SocialFunds. com cites Vestas [VWSYF. PK], a Danish company and the world's largest wind turbine manufacturer and NEG Micon [NEGMF. PK], another Danish wind power firm, as two examples of European public clean energy companies. Two German firms include Enercon [ENDC. PK] and Nordex [NRDXF. PK], both major players in the European market, while Gamesa [GAM. MC], a Spanish company, represents a firm trying to penetrate the US market following its growth abroad."
