Yeah well, Elliot Abrams sure was not 'dropping a rose petal into the Grand Canyon and waiting for the echo', was he, he was knowingly and with malice aforethought participating in the brutalisation of noncombatant campesinos who had never done anything to hurt him or his nation and who could not frickin spell the word communist much less give a damn about ideologies .... Abrams, unfortunate as he may be with a name beginning with Ab which lands him at the top of alphabetical lists, was part and parcel of the organisation that ran goons who Reagan termed 'my boys', and who raped, tortured, murdered, burned, blew up, and hacked some fine people who were just minding their own g.d. business, about thirty thousands of them which is roughly ten times the number of victims of the WTC crimes, and i really think that Ms Dickinson, Dr Suess, and Mr Swift would all appreciate that such detritus of our species has no place in power in any society aspiring to the title of Civilised, hell i bet Toto would have him by the ankle in a deathlock until we could deal with the scum

'"How would you feel if your wife and children were brutally raped before being hacked to death by soldiers during a military massacre of 800 civilians, and then two governments tried to cover up the killings?" It's a question that won't be asked of Elliott Abrams at a Senate confirmation hearing- because George W. Bush, according to press reports, may appoint Abrams to a National Security Council staff position that (conveniently!) does not require Senate approval. Moreover, this query is one of a host of rude, but warranted, questions that could be lobbed at Abrams, the Iran/contra player who was an assistant secretary of state during the Reagan years and a shaper of that Administration's controversial-and deadly-policies on Latin America and human rights. His designated spot in the new regime: NSC's senior director for democracy, human rights and international operations.'
