It cited official educational curricula in Arab countries that "bred submission, obedience, subordination and compliance rather than free critical thinking." Traditional Chinese culture also has a clear elements of "submission to authority", "obedience", and so forth from what I have been able to gather. But this has not stopped them from climbing out of the hole dug for them by Chairman Mao - a hole probably deeper than that the Arab nations find themselves in today. Perhaps Muslims should look to China for the ideas they lack instead of obsessing about the West and a handful of Jews.
