Yes UTEK has done well. I still don't know any newsletter purveyor that has profited much from it.

Is it true though that you recomend 90% in index funds and the rest spread among a whole bunch of stocks? How much could one make from Utek in that situation?

There was a time when I felt I could move the price of UTEK myself because it was so thinly traded. In fact, one day I happened to get the low trade of the day and could actually see my trade on the intraday chart. That was pretty special.

I don't follow it these days so I don't know if it's still true but it can be fun to play with stocks like that. You should be able to develop ways, as a trader, to probe the supply of sellers by setting limit orders at below market prices. It's beyond my skills but stocks like UTEK are the ones to learn on.
