No, it doesn't work that way.

It does indeed work that way.

However, with FOX, I have to double check stories to make sure they are telling the truth.....period.

With most news sources that is true, or if your really want to be careful with all news sources its true.

Plus, they question every statement of fact made by liberals to find some way to overturn it as well as make personal attacks.

That works both ways on any of the opinion shows. The difference is FOX has more opinion shows.

I was driving up the east coast and back this week...listening mostly to AM radio. I was shocked. There is nary a sign of liberal radio. Sean, Mike Gallager, Mike Savage, a pletora of right wing (and I mean nut case right wing)religious channels and, you guessed it, the rush show. Well, you know that rush is busy detoxing...so who was subbing for him? None other than Tony Snow of faux news fame. The very first caller asked how he could possibly work for a "fair and balanced" news channel and come on as a host for the ultra conservative rush show...tony goes on to say that he is neutral and slams both reps and dems equally. Well, for the next hour (all I could take) he went on a conservative editorial rapsody, culminating in an interview with none other than ashcroft himself. Not one negative comment about a rep...lots of them about Dean, his agenda, liberalism, etc...

So much for fair and balanced.
