Nasdaq long is not a viable play...

I agree with that, but the Nasdaq isn't a short yet.

Not much new here - What's working -

Mining stocks for industrial metals -

Nickel - I like INCO, (N) They report results SOON.

Copper - PD, PCU

Large miners like BHP.

***********

Countries -

Japan EWJ, MJFOX, FJSCX
Korea EWK
Austrailia EWA

************

Natural gas if iffy right now - I am holding low cost positions.

I also hold PAL, RRI, TMR, SCLN, ROYL, KCS and BTO , but these are either trades or longer term speculations...

I used to have CHN China Fund and GCH Greater CHina, but sold a few weeks ago as the valuations got too high, missing much of the move....just like you did.

>>But, right at this moment, I am dazed, confused, indecisive, afraid, and unable to head one way or dash the other direction........come on Jay, what is the Natural Trade, the Obvious Exchange, the Apparent Wager, and the Sure Bet” (“NToeAwsB.........I don’t know for sure, but it sure ain’t Nasdaq long !”<<

How sure are you?

If we are at the end of the beginning of the third leg of the Greatest Bull Market in History (GBMH), as I believe we are, and the advance of US equities is led by tech. stocks, as I think it will be, then the Nasdaq is in fact the place to be.

Another problem with Ven is that equity markets are quite pricey with equities being one of the few ways of taking capital out of the country. Also there are problems paying dividends to offshore holders.

I am looking at Bolivia - that is one country with energy and chaos. I am having some difficulty finding stuff however.
