For example, tuition alone for undergraduates at Harvard is currently $26,066 a year as compared with $1,840 at Oxford University.

We just checked the tuition of a large, world prominent engineering school (NY State) that in the late 1950's was $1500/year. CPI adjusted converts to about $4500 today. Actual cost today for tuition ONLY is $27,500/year!!!! PLUS books, room/board, living costs etc!!!

The days of video conferencing with a video of the BEST professor worldwide in the subject, (NOT unseen professors using a TA) and text books online for a fraction of todays cost, are hopefully not too many years away!
