I've worked at many large corporations. I've seen ways of improving processes and making life easier on people. Management never wanted to hear about it. Necessity is the mother of all invention. If all of the damn oil dried up next week, there would be new energy products on the market very quickly. Whether they would be kind to the environment, or renewable is another question.
