Hummm...this sounds extremely fishy.
Intel typically saves their latest and greatest process for their latest and greatest flagship chip, ie. the P4.

The article claims that yields on .90u are good enough....

So why not make P4s?

One word? HEAT....

DOesn't it point to heat problems? Intel already said the Prescott will dissipate less than 100 watts. Others sources suggest 90-100w...

Actually that would be pretty pathetic for a new process shrink...

I wonder what's the matta?

Could it be that Prescott was delayed to finish validation of AMD64 extensions, while Prescott Celerons have these extensions disabled?
