Yes after 9-11 the smuggling of tons of stuff, which also could be terrorist illegally into the country with an elaborate covert infrastructure is not a danger at all.

Yes The "War on Drugs" diverts resources from fighting terrorists. LOL, I don't think so.

Nice post James. The war on drugs is what makes the value of drugs so high. The value of drugs will go to almost zero if they are made legal. The cocaine cartels in South America are rich, because of the risk associated with dealing in illegal drugs. If there was no war on drugs, the stuff would have almost no value, and the drug cartels would not wield so much power. It's a sad irony indeed.
