<<The League of nations was not an internationally recognized body.>>
...Again - The British Mandate over Palestine was also recognized by the UN. It existed, it was the governing body the the region. It amazes me that you would go to such a length to try and invalidate it.

<<For you to see no difference between the deaths of a combatant and a civilian is another difference between us.>>
...1) I made that statement in a discussion about the deaths of Jewish settlers and the fact that, although the Arabs were technically not terrorist, that doesn't change the impact of the violence.
...2) I repeated that thought when I made the point that, to those people who lose their loved ones, the distinction between intentionally targeted and collateral damage is of no consolation.
...3) Nowhere in the discussion did we touch on how you or I feel about Uday and Kusai. Although personally I am sorry that they are dead. It would be better for their victims to see them stand trial.

Fred, at this point we need to end this conversation. It was a nice exercise that gave me a chance to try a philosophical twist. And you are a persistent critic which is the best way I know to put such a thing to the test. But we are starting to beat on minutia.
