This subject was addressed in the NVLS conferenc call during Q & A. Hill indicated that the impact of the SFAM acquisition has not been material.

NVLS bought PVD (from Varian), a surface cleaning company, and SFAM. They have previously commented on how difficult it has been to compete with AMAT in PVD, but they persevered and have been successful. In this Q conference call they declared the surface cleaning merger a success.

It would be ironic if Bagley took LRCX out of the CMP business. As you know, they got into CMP the same way they got Bagley: by merging with ONTK.
