gravelbc.ca - lots of links in re gravel here, BC, the US, international ... here we pay from ten loonies the tonne upward, fob loaded at the pit .... prices have to be healthy in Florida where the country is on a base of sand, and there is so much money around .... just a matter of engineering a system to get it there efficiently and keep up the quality of product .... there's a link on that page to 'How a Self-unloader Works', that's a gravel ship owned by our next prime ministre [well, technically owned by his sons now] [ahem] ..... there's proven gold in the Caroni, rutile and various other goodies too, no doubt about that, however construction aggregate is the base of the operation, the great majority of material volume, and it should pay on gravel alone, the rest going straight to the bottom line, probably with hefty royalties taken off them first though ..... it's a very big deal, and a very maybe deal at this point .... who knows ... hey, the sun is out finally, i'm gone, later ... cheers
