Well, I don't call $400 billion a year chump change, and that doesn't count the extra $67 billion we're about to give them for Iraq. We spend more than the next 20 countries COMBINED. The military can't even account for 1 in every 4 dollars it receives, to bring up waste, fraud and abuse! Our military is focused on going toe to toe with another country, when what we need is a kind of an international police force to deal with terrorists. F-22's, artillery, tanks and aircraft carriers aren't much use against a suicide bomber. What country threatens us militarily, REALLY? Only Russia, and Putin is Bush's best buddy.
