Looking at the graphs, Intel's 32 bit processor is just as good as AMD's 64 bit processor. Why would anyone want to buy AMD's?

Intel continues to win the FUD.


FUD works better when you are ahead.

BTW, did you notice the section about Cool'N'Quiet? This is something that Intel's P4 line is missing. If Prescott does not have it, it will cause a lot of problems for Intel. It is a major crime that AMD does not make it a required feature, but that is besides the point.

Anyway, back in the Athlon glory days, original Athlon was faster, but but Pentium ran cooler. In the Hammer glory days, Athlons will be faster AND cooler. To top it off, it will also be able to run 64 bit OS and apps.
