Dean can easily be pegged as a liberal anti-war whiner with Naderites as his base. The Bushies can just use Dean's own quotes. Mark my words, the Bushies know exactly how to defeat Dean. They've done it before and will do it again. Maybe not a Dukakis landslide but close. Not a single Democratic power is behind dean. He's on his own. Might as well be an independent. That means he gets the rebel-protest vote, but that vote does not win national elections, only certain primaries.
