I thought you were taking the stand that you wanted government "out of your life" so at to be "left alone". Well, Bush and his crowd can ONLY get themselves involved in the deepest and most personal of life's decisions. They have a double standard about "personal responsibility" and Constitutional rights. They get giddy over the DEATH PENALTY yet have no problem fighting abortion. ...am I missing something? It there a disconnect here? What is most interesting is the following: Capital punishment is state sponsored act (decided, paid for and delivered through your tax dollars.) Is abortion? Bush, for his "comapssionate" part -- executed 4 mentally retarded murderers -- apparently feeling that life-long jail & three square was expressing a bit too much compassion. Three of these four were killed within the last 365 days in office as Texas Gov. -- in which two were sitting on death row for over 10 years prior. -JH
