Chris, from what I have read in various sources at this point--most signigicantly a neurosurgeon whom I hold in esteem--I am at a loss to have an opinon as to what should be done in Terri Schiavo's case. That said, and although said esteemed neurosurgeon did not say this, I am reasonably sure Schiavo is not ever going to get up and start dancing, so to speak. I am gratified the court has appointed a guardian ad litem. I know also that in my time of life, liberty, and lucidity, I would think that were I in Schiavo's situation it would be time for me to go, and wish that those charged with my care allow my passing on.
